Earth Paper Fibre
Last Updated: 18 November 2025
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all ceramic print-from services and products created and sold by Earth Paper Fibre. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Handmade Nature of Products
All ceramic pieces are handmade. Variations in colour, texture, size, glaze finish, or shape are normal and expected. Such variations are not considered defects.
3. Customer-Supplied Images
Customers must ensure they hold full rights or permission to use any image submitted for printing. By providing an image, you confirm you legally own the rights or have obtained proper permission. Earth Paper Fibre is not responsible for any copyright or licensing issues arising from images supplied by the customer.
4. Kiln Firing Risks
Ceramics involve natural risks during drying and firing.
Earth Paper Fibre takes no responsibility for breakages, cracking, warping, blistering, or any other firing-related damage that may occur in the kiln.
This risk is inherent to ceramics, and refunds, credits, or free reprints are not offered for kiln-related loss.
5. Postage & Delivery
Once an order has been shipped, it is outside Earth Paper Fibre’s control.
We take no responsibility for breakage, damage, delays, or loss that occurs during postage or handling by postal carriers.
Tracked or insured shipping can be requested at an additional cost for extra protection.
6. Returns & Refunds
Because every ceramic print is custom-made:
-
No returns or refunds are accepted.
-
Replacements are only offered if Earth Paper Fibre has sent the incorrect item.
-
Custom items are non-refundable under all circumstances.
7. Production Times
Production times are estimates and may vary depending on drying time, firing schedules, workload, or material availability.
Delays may occur, and production times are not guaranteed.
8. Health & Safety
-
All glazes and underglazes used by Earth Paper Fibre are lead-free.
-
Products are intended for decorative purposes only, unless clearly stated as food-safe.
9. Care Instructions
Ceramic pieces should be handled with care due to their fragile nature.
The following guidelines help maintain longevity:
-
Not dishwasher safe.
-
Avoid soaking or scrubbing with abrasive materials.
-
Do not expose to extreme temperature changes (e.g., microwave, oven, boiling water, outdoor frost).
-
Use gentle cleaning methods and handle with caution to prevent chips, cracks, or breakage.
10. Material Disclosure
Because pieces are handmade:
-
Small imperfections such as pinholes, surface texture variations, glaze pooling, slight warping, or minor inconsistencies may occur.
-
These are natural outcomes of the ceramic process and are not considered faults.
11. Liability Limitation
Earth Paper Fibre’s total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the purchase, handling, or use of our products.
12. Privacy
Customer information is used solely for order processing, communication, and delivery.
Earth Paper Fibre handles all personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
13. Changes to Terms
Earth Paper Fibre reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of our services after updates signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.
